Brightlingsea’s Victoria Place car park has been awarded a Safer Parking Award Scheme Park Mark by the British Parking Association.

The car park behind the town council offices was assessed on the quality of lighting, cleanliness, security measures and quality management to give an overall review of safety.

It’s one of 15 car parks operated by Tendring District Council to hold the mark, eight of which have been accredited this year.
