Vaccinations on offer at Brightlingsea Music Festival

Vaccinations - available at the Brightlingsea Free Music Festival

Not had a Covid-19 vaccination yet? If you’re over 18 you can get one without an appointment this Saturday at the Brightlingsea Free Music Festival.

The NHS Community Vaccination Bus will be visiting the festival on Hurst Green offering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. You can just walk in – though there must be an eight-week gap between first and second doses – and you don’t need to be registered with town’s Colne Medical Centre to get the vaccine.

The Centre told Brightlingsea Info that currently 63% of its patients aged 18 and over have had both doses of the vaccine and 10% have had one dose.
