“Tiny House” plan submitted for Tower Cut

A plan to build a one-bedroomed, barn-style property dubbed ‘Tiny House’  in the back garden of 3 Tower Street, Brightlingsea, has been submitted to Tendring District Council.

The house would be accessed via Tower Cut and replace old brick-built outbuildings. Designed around a central internal courtyard and clad in black timber weatherboard with a slate roof, the plot will allow for one car parking space.

The plans, which will be discussed at a future meeting of the council’s planning department, can be seen here.
