Route change for Brightlingsea Carnival
The route for the Brightlingsea Carnival procession – which takes place on Saturday, July 16 – has been changed slightly.
The procession will now start from Promenade Way at noon before moving around the town to finish in Copperas Road via Station Road, Ladysmith Avenue, Seaview Road, Red Barn Road, Chapel Road, High Street, Station Road, Colne Road and Waterside.
For the first time, the event will be combined with the Town Regatta, which will be taking place over two days - Saturday 16 and Sunday 17.
