Could you be a school governor?
Brightlingsea Primary School and Nursery has vacancies for two co-opted governors to join its governing body.
The voluntary position requires a commitment to attend five full governing body meetings per year (held in the evening) plus a attendance at the school at least termly to conduct monitoring visits.
The school is particularly keen to attract candidates with a financial background but welcomes applications from anyone who is committed to the local school and community. Access to training will be given and co-opted governors do not need to be a parent/guardian of a child at the school.
