Free wedding on offer for lucky key worker

A free wedding for up to 100 guests is on offer for one lucky engaged key worker through a competition from the Princes Theatre in Clacton.

One lucky couple will receive exclusive use of the Princes Theatre venue for their wedding or civil partnership, including a special effects package. Also included in the prize is a hog roast, welcome drinks, decorations, evening entertainment and bespoke save the date cards and invitations.

Princes Theatre Weddings, supported by Two Hearts Catering and Décor Hire, is offering up the prize to recognise the efforts of key workers during the Covid-19 crisis. Alex Porter, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism at Tendring District Council – which runs the Princes Theatre – said: “Having been so busy during the past few months, there may well be key workers out there who have not been able to plan for their wedding, and we hope our prize will help them and take much of that stress away.”

He added: “We can’t wait to help a key worker – whether they be a nurse, refuse worker, teacher or someone else – and their partner celebrate their special day in the biggest way possible with the Princes Theatre. Although we can only offer up one prize, we hope this token of appreciation shows our thanks to those who have been on the frontline keeping the country running and us safe during these difficult times.”

For full details, as well as terms and conditions, and to enter the competition go to https://princestheatre.co.uk/win-a-wedding/.  Entries close on July 4, and the winner will be chosen at random.
