Jubilee Crown Trail
About this event
Collect a map from Brightlingsea Museum and follow the trail to find the Crowns! There are twenty to find and some are in unusual places!! Many of the Crowns have been made by members of 4Youth and Brightlingsea Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade . Working with Brightlingsea Museum and local creative Vikki Walsh , they've been busy creating Crowns and decorating them in the style of one of the Queen's many marvellous hats and there are a few Crowns made by local shop owners and one specially made for Brightlingsea Museum! Each crown has a letter of the alphabet attached - when you've found them all you can solve the puzzle! as you re-arrange the letters to spell out a name...
You can return your map to Brightlingsea Museum if you'd like to enter into a prize draw!! If you are lucky enough to be a winner* there are some Brightlingsea Museum souvenirs to win OR you could win the chance to Plant a Tree for Jubilee. Later in the year you and your trail crew will attend a tree planting ceremony and plant the Museum tree for Jubilee!!!
Why not TROOP YOUR COLOUR as you do the Crown Trail?! Like the trail, it's free!!! Together it will be a fun way to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!
