CAB launches Adviceline service

Citizens Advice Tendring has launched its Adviceline telephone service in the Tendring area.

Adviceline is Citizens Advice national telephone advice service. Its purpose is to provide a telephone advice service to clients in England via a single 0344 number, 03444 111 444.

Mel Hammond, Operations Director of Citizens Advice Tendring, said: “We realise that there are many people locally in need of advice who cannot get to our bureaus in Clacton and Harwich. Tendring has some of the most deprived areas in the country whose residents need our help to claim benefits, deal with debt problems and housing issues. The introduction of this service, available Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 4:00, means that we can provide access to quality advice to people in their own homes and improve their situation.”

If you’d like to become a Telephone Assessor and help us provided this exciting new service to the residents of Tendring, please contact Citizens Advice Tendring on 01255 377080.

  • Calling Adviceline costs the same as a local call and calls are charged at the same rate as calling an 01 or 02 number. Clients must check with their local provider for exact costs.
