Welcome to Brightlingsea Virtual Open Gardens 2020

CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE GARDENS

Hello everyone and welcome to Brightlingsea Open Gardens 2020 – with a difference! Sadly, due to the current health situation, we cannot visit any gardens this weekend, when this well-loved annual event should have taken place. So, together with Brightlingsea Info, we have created a Virtual Open Gardens website, where you can view stunning photos of many gardens throughout the town.

Last year, our group raised £18,000 in support of St. Helena Hospice and this event is always our biggest fundraiser. In common with many charities at the moment, St. Helena is struggling for funds to continue its wonderful work which so many of us come to depend on at some point in our lives. Please, if you are able, consider donating to this great cause as you enjoy looking through the garden pictures.

Thank you so much to everyone who has entered ‘online’ this year and to those who have visited this page. And big thanks are also due to our sponsors, Optimum, Lucas and Big Red Web Design. Your support is greatly appreciated. We fervently hope to be back to truly Open Gardens in 2021. Meanwhile, please look after yourselves.

Best wishes,

Pauline Skerritt,

Chairman, Brightlingsea Hospice Support Group

About St Helena

St Helena helps local people facing incurable illness and bereavement. We provide expert care and support to people living in North Essex at The Hospice and through our Hospice in the Home services, as well as providing a wide range of day therapy services through our centres in Colchester and Clacton. Our 24/7 SinglePoint Service coordinates care across a range of local providers and hosts the My Care Choices Register. We support families, including children, pre and post bereavement.
