Brightlingsea folk put on their dancing shoes to feature in a new music video showcasing a song by recording engineer, producer and musician Chris West under the name One by One.
Chris put out an appeal for people prepared to be filmed “Dancing Like a Fool” – the refrain from The Puppet Song (Dancing Like a Fool). Plenty of residents rose to the challenge, spending a day filming in and outside the YMCA.
The song was recorded in Sardinia, although Chris – who has worked with Status Quo, Leo Sayer, David Cassidy and Richard Ashcroft and played guitar with Rick Wakeman, among others, has a home in Brightlingsea. The video was shot by Brightlingsea-based Opaz Multimedia.

(The Verve). Chris was also a professional guitarist at the age of 23 and had played with Rick Wakeman, Stomu Yamashta, Earthband. The Puppet Song was recorded at his Studio in Sardinia, and the video was shot, with the help of the local friends, at the YMCA. Filmed by Ray of Opaz
