Nine local organisations have shared over £1,600 in grants from the Brightlingsea Luncheon Club.
The club, which has been running for over 50 years, says the awards were made in recognition of “all their wonderful voluntary work they do helping Brightlingsea and its residents”.
Over 50 people attended the club’s awards evening in Brightlingsea Museum on August 25. Grant recipients were: Brightlingsea Museum, The Edward Sycamore Fund, All Saints’ Tower Fund, Stroke Support, Brightlingsea in Bloom, 4YOUth Brightlingsea, Bright Shedders and Brightlingsea First Responders.
