After a Covid-inspired hiatus in 2021, the biennial Voices for Hospice concert is back for 2023.
The concerts have been running since 2003 and have raised nearly to £30,000 for St Helena Hospice. This year’s fundraiser in St James’ church on October 7 will, for the first time, include an hour-long matinee at 4pm featuring the Brightlingsea Primary School choir and guests.
At 7pm, there will be an evening concert with Bright Voices, Women in Harmony (pictured above), the Motley Crew and guest soloists. Wine and refreshments will be available and there’ll be a grand raffle.
Tickets for the matinee concert cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for under 16s and for the evening concert tickets are £12 and £6 respectively. They’ll be available from Little Boat Gifts in New Street and Spirals in Victorial Place from September 4.
All proceeds will go to St Helena Hospice. We have been running these concerts since 2003 and raised close to £30,000 in total.
