TV chef films on Brightlingsea Hard

A top TV chef was spotted filming for his latest series on Brightlingsea Hard this week.

Tom Kerridge brought his 1950s food truck to the town for an episode of the ITV series Tom Kerridge Cooks Britain.

The six-part series sees the Michelin-starred chef touring the country to discover local food producers, working alongside them before cooking a meal using their produce.

The programmes are made in partnership with Marks & Spencer, and food from the producers featured is sold in M&S Food outlets. The Brightlingsea episode will air later this year.
