Five new members have joined Brightlingsea Lido’s Trustee Board.
Gill Clegg, Karen Green, Celia Jones, Brian Lambert and Steve Watts have joined Mick Barry, Dave Atkinson, Neil Ballard and Jenny Barry to lead the next phase of Lido developments – which includes the building of a covered space that will be used for events and to provide shade.
Mick Barry, Chair of the Trustees said: “We are delighted to have increased the number of Lido Trustees. They all bring with them a fantastic range of skills that we will need moving forward.”
New trustee Celia Jones got involved with the Lido through general volunteering. “Volunteering at the Lido is brilliant,” she said. “It is such a happy place with lots of different things to do that anyone could put their hands to. There are free swims available, great friendships, new skills to learn and a lot of laughing!”
The Lido’s AGM will be held on Wednesday, February 28 at 7.30 pm at the Parish Hall in Victoria Place. All are welcome. For further information about volunteering, contact [email protected].
