An obituary of Brightlingsea barge skipper sailmaker Jim Lawrence featured has featured on BBC Radio 4.
Jim died in January at the age of 90 and on Friday, March 8, the Last Word programme ran a piece which included him talking about his life working with Thames barges and singing in his inimitable style.
