Brightlingsea Dental & Facial Aesthetics Clinic has reopened for patients after government guidance requiring dentists to cease all face-to face contact with patients was eased.
The High Street practise says it has been working hard to implement new policies and standards to ensure patient safety – a process it describes as “challenging due to the short notice given by the government”.
Dental hygienist and therapist Pat Popat said: “Initially, we will be seeing urgent care patients first. These are patients with pain and swelling. We will then start to see routine care patients again for their dental needs and try to get back to a normal service as soon as guidelines permit.”
The clinic has produced a video showing its new contactless patient journey, which can be seen by clicking here.
