Fifty free tickets are being offered by Brightlingsea Regent Football Club for games taking place in December and January to help kick off the town’s forthcoming 2023 WinterFest.
The football club has already shown its support for WinterFest by having the festival’s logo on its away shirts and now the generous offer of the free tickets will give a further boost to the bond between the two popular Brightlingsea organisations.
Tom Doherty, commercial manager for the Regents said: “We are giving away 25 tickets for the Carshalton game on December 17th and 25 more tickets for the Bishops Stortford game on January 2nd. Kids get in free, so the value of the donated tickets is around £600.
“This will give local people the chance to come and enjoy the great action and atmosphere at the two games and will help reinforce our valued link with WinterFest.”
WinterFest crew member Eamonn Lorimer who organised the free tickets offer in conjunction with the football club said: “We are very grateful to the club for its generosity. The free tickets are bound to be popular and, as well as attracting football fans, will also give the opportunity to people who wouldn’t normally go to a football match to experience a new family fun activity and support their local team.”
The Brightlingsea Regent tickets are available to people living in Brightlingsea or Thorrington. To apply for the tickets email your request with your name and address to [email protected]
WinterFest’s full programme of arts, music, spoken word and wellbeing activities will run throughout February 2023 and details will shortly be available on brightlingseawinterfest.co.uk
