Brightlingsea-based rock duo When Rivers Meet have achieved a notable first after their latest album went to number nine in the Official UK Album Chart.
The position for Aces Are High means the husband-and-wife duo of Aaron and Grace Bond are the first independent UK blues act to have an album in the chart’s top 10.
“We delighted with the support that we have had from our dedicated fans,” said Grace, the band’s vocalist, mandolin and violin player.
Guitarist Aaron added: “Having a Top 10 album means the world to us. We can’t wait to perform the new songs when we tour the UK in April and May 2024.”
